School district announces milestone in student academic achievement

The School District of Rhinelander is recognizing an academic milestone achieved by Rhinelander High School students.
According to a school district press release, 141 RHS students took 220 Advanced Placement (AP) exams during the last school year and 97 students earned a score of 3 or higher—a 69% success rate, the highest in school history in all categories.
“Congratulations to all students and teaching staff for this outstanding accomplishment!” the release states. “Congratulations also to Principal Dornfeld and Associate Principal Knott for your academic leadership at RHS.Your hard work and dedication are opening doors to college credit, scholarship opportunities, and future success. RHS students continue to shine beyond our walls earning significant college credit while in high school through start college now and dual credit and a very high percentage continue to earn dean’s list honors in 2 and 4 year colleges. This is what being Hodag Ready for College and Career looks like.”
