Come play at the library!

International Game Day @ Your Library is Saturday, November 21. The Rhinelander District Library will be open regular Saturday hours, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For this very cool event the American Library Association has arranged for select game producers to send libraries brand new games for you all to try!
We won’t have Monopoly (you’re probably already really disappointed), but in addition to MineCraft, Munchkin, Boggle, Pears of Pairs and any number of other games we have hanging out here at the library, USAopoly has sent us their new games Wonky and Reverse Charades; Looney Labs sent some really cool card games — Choose One and eco Fluxx and SteveJackson Games sent us Munchkin Treasure Hunt and for those of you who miss the hunt, a dice game, Trophy Buck!
I know, I know, November 21 is Opening Day. I know that. Deer have been crossing my path for weeks, just waiting to become my dinner. But, what if you got your deer early? What if you don’t hunt? What if you just want to be indoors? What then. It’s bound to be snowy and cold. Wouldn’t you just love to come to the library and play by our fire with family, friends and neighbors?
Well be all ready to have you here. There might be a door prize in it for you. Let the games begin!
