Obituary: Betty Hargraves
Elizabeth “Betty” Hargraves, age 83 of Rhinelander, died on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019. She was born Dec. 21, 1935, in Rhinelander to Thomas and Ida (Dahlin) Duffy.
Betty is survived by her children, Norah (Dan) Gard, Deb (Cord) Meyer, Heidi (Bob) Oldenburg, Greg (Tammy) Hargraves; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Tom (Julianne) Duffy; two sisters, Joanne O’Brien and June (Ron) Wiedeman; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hargraves; son, Danny Hargraves; and brother-in-law, Charlie O’Brien.
The visitation for Betty will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rhinelander, from 3 p.m. until the 4 p.m. memorial service. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Northland Memorial Park. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
