Statewide alert seeks fourth of five suspects in Valliere murder

The Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation has issued a state-wide alert asking for help in locating the fifth suspect in the December murder of Lac du Flambeau resident Wayne Valliere Jr.
James B. Lussier, 19, is wanted for being party to a crime/conspiracy to commit first degree murder and for failing to appear in Vilas County on charges of resisting arrest and obstruction related to the homicide investigation. Lussier has a warrant through the Marathon County Sheriff’s office for intentionally failing to submit DNA.
Lussier is described as 6’2” tall, 263 pounds, brown eyes and black hair with numerous tattoos. Anyone with information on Lussier’s whereabouts is asked to contact Special Agent Michael Reimer at 715-359-7112.
Wayne Valliere, 25, was last seen Dec. 22. His mother contacted the Lac du Flambeau police Dec. 25, 2017 to report her son missing.
Four men, Richard Allen, Joseph Lussier, Curtis Wolfe and Evan Oungst have been arrested and charged with his murder and an additional charge of hiding a corpse.
