Santa calls to raise funds to fight cancer
There is still time to request a call!
Santa and his elves will be taking time out this busy season to help raise funds and awareness in an effort to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer. Santa and his elves will be making calls to local area children to help the local Relay For Life events with fundraising for research and services.
Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, or friends can help put a smile on the face of a youngster when they receive a call or letter from Santa Claus! Santa will either call the child, send a letter or do both for a simple donation to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.
Calls from Santa will be made on the evenings of Dec. 5-8 and will be made between 6-8 p.m. Santa will make a call for a minimum donation of $7, or send a letter for a minimum donation of $6. He will do both for a minimum donation $10.
Complete this form (one per child) and return it with a donation to the American Cancer Society, Attention: Santa Calls, N19 W 24350 Riverwood Drive, Waukesha WI 53188. INFORMATION MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOV. 28.
Diane Geis, senior community manger for the American Cancer Society, can be reached at 715-891-2061 for additional information. Payment must accompany the request.
Funds raised help the American Cancer Society provide free information and support for people facing the disease today, and fund cancer research that will help protect future generations. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Society has invested more than $4.3 billion in research since 1946, and have funded more than 20,000 scientists at more than 1,000 institutions nationwide.
