OBITUARY: Marvin F. Sivertson
Marvin F. Sivertsen, age 67, of Rhinelander, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. He was born June 13, 1949 in Menominee to Marvin and Darlene (Harris) Sivertsen.
Marvin graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1967. After graduating he was employed by the Rhinelander Paper Company. He married Segunda (Celestial) Sivertsen on January 6, 1990 and enjoyed 26 years of marriage. Marvin enjoyed many things but he loved his Corvette. His passion was in woodworking. He built his own wooden boat that he would take out every so often. He also enjoyed photography, and collecting antique cars.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Segunda(Celestial) Sivertsen; daughters, Marci Sivertsen and Kristina (Terry) Budreau of Rhinelander; son, Marvin (Angela) Sivertsen of Rhinelander; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Sivertsen of Lakewood, Minn., Linda (Culver) Terbeest and Julene (Michael) Kuehl of Rhinelander; Becky Blackburn of Wartrace, Tenn., Lori Sivertsen of Merrill, Debbie Sivertsen, Diane (Frank ) Calabrese of Grayslake, Ill. and brother, Mike (Debbie) Sivertsen. He was preceded in death by his father Marvin P. Sivertsen; brother, Casey Sivertsen, aunt and uncle Elmer and Jennie Logan and his aunt and godmother, Elaine Birchall.
Visitation for Marvin will be Tuesday, Aug. 30, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home with Chaplain John Uhlarik Officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Home Cemetery. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
