SDR’s Jacobi says budget changes would impact education
Superintendent Kelli Jacobi is asking for the public’s help in addressing parts of the state budget she says are harmful to education.
“Legislators have been busy in Madison, and I think they believe that they are addressing the needs of the Wisconsin educational system and have the support of their constituents,” Jacobi said. “Many items in the new State Budget are very concerning and would have an impact of the School District of Rhinelander.”
According to Jacobi, the attached is a list of changes proposed for public education.
“If you don’t agree with the proposed State Budget items as listed in the attached document, please contact your representatives and/or other State legislators immediately. Legislators will begin voting on the budget in the upcoming weeks.”
