Obituary: James Sandeman
James Sandeman, 62, died April 10, 2015, in his home at Maple Park in Rhinelander. He was born July 13, 1952 to Winifred (Harter) and Homer Sandeman. He is survived by a sister, Alice Babson of Verona; a nephew, Brennan Babson of San Diego, Calif.; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; Edythe Sandeman; Albert and Iola Sandeman; John and Geneva Sandeman; Helen and Doug Haroldson; and Tom and Blanche Sandeman. Mr. Sandeman was employed at Opportunities Unlimited as a member of the kitchen staff. He looked forward to attending Boy Scout activities and summer camp, and participated in Special Olympics regional and state events. He anticipated the “Fishing Has No Boundaries” outing each year. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Carlson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Nativity of Our Lord/St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
