Rhinelander flu vaccine clinic reminder
The Oneida County Health Department reminds community members that anyone who wants to reduce the chances of getting the flu should get vaccinated. It’s recommended that all people six months and older get a flu shot.
There is a flu vaccine clinic Oct. 23 at Rhinelander High School from 4-6 p.m. in the commons area. The vaccine is free for children 18 and under. A parent/guardian must be present. The clinic coincides with the RHS parent-teacher conferences.
Flu vaccine is also available for adults 19 years and up. Cost is $25 or $37 depending on the type of vaccine.
The Oneida County Health Department accepts cash or check and will bill Medicaid, BadgerCare, Medicare, and some Medicare replacements
