Citizen members needed for Aging and Disability Resource Center Board of Directors
The Aging and Disability Resource Center of the Northwoods provides information, assistance, advocacy and access to community resources to older adults, persons with disabilities and their families to promote healthy choices, independence and an enhanced quality of life.
The ADRC of the Northwoods serves Forest, Oneida, Taylor and Vilas Counties and includes the Forest County Potawatomi Community, Lac du Flambeau Band of Chippewa Indians, and Sokaogon Chippewa Community.
The ADRC is currently accepting applications from residents of the four counties to serve on its board of directors representing and advocating on behalf of one of the following ADRC consumer categories: 1) adults age 60 and older or 2) adults with a disability.
Citizen members receive a meeting stipend and mileage reimbursement to attend meetings.
