Bike Rodeo will be held May 21
To help support National Bike Month Oneida County Health Department will be hosting a bike rodeo this spring.
The rodeo will take place May 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the local Rhinelander Walmart parking lot.
In case of rain or severe weather, the rodeo will be postponed to May 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. This is a public event and is free to children between the ages of 5 to 12.
Bring the child’s bike, and helmet if they have one. The event will include a series of obstacle courses designed to simulate real life experiences in order to properly teach bicycle safety skills to children. The event will also include a meal, bike repairs by Bikes n’ Boards, helmets for all children in need, a bike raffle and prizes.
