Oneida County Economic Development Corporation to hold annual luncheon
The Oneida County Economic Development Corporation (OCEDC) will hold its Annual Meeting and Luncheon Friday, April 25 at noon at Holiday Acres Resort in Rhinelander.
This event brings community leaders, representatives of business, industry and governmental communities together to discuss our community, business needs and information regarding services available through OCEDC that assist local area businesses.
This year’s guest speaker will be Richard G. Chandler, secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. Chandler’s presentation topic will be: “Improving Wisconsin’s Economy: Tax Reforms for Individuals and Businesses.”
Wisconsin has taken steps to dramatically improve the state’s tax and business climate. Secretary Chandler will highlight recent state tax reforms and the state’s pro-jobs tax incentives. He will also talk about the state’s ongoing job creation initiatives, the outlook for the state’s economy, and the tax reform roundtables that are being held around the state to receive public input about future tax reforms.
Anyone interested in attending this annual event is asked to contact the OCEDC office at 715-369-9110, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or visit the website at www.ocedc.org/events.
