Those who wish to find out more about health insurance options under the new health care law may attend one of several events offering enrollment opportunities to Oneida County residents:
- Feb. 22 at the Rhinelander Public Library, 106 N. Stevens St., 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
- March 8 at the Rhinelander Public Library, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
- March 14 at the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- March 28 at the Rhinelander Public Library, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
The deadline for everyone to have insurance is March 31.
Participants interested in enrolling will have access to certified application counselors and the Healthcare.gov website. They will be able to see how much subsidy will be available to them and may start their enrollment process.
Although walk-ins are welcome, the best way to guarantee that an individual will receive help is to make an appointment by calling 715-261-2141 no later than two days before the event.
Other enrollment opportunities may be found by calling United Way’s 2-1-1.
