Still time to register for spring semester classes at Nicolet
Spring semester classes start Jan. 17 at Nicolet College and while there’s still time to register, “We are encouraging anyone interested in enrolling to do so promptly,” said Kyle Gruening, Nicolet registrar. “Courses are filling fast.”
Nicolet currently offers more than 70 degrees, diplomas and certificates, including the University Transfer Liberal Arts program where students complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree. Nicolet has numerous credit transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities, including several that offer bachelor’s degrees online, which allows students to remain in the Northwoods.
Spring semester classes include core program courses as well as general education classes that are required in many programs.
Nicolet also offers numerous online classes to help students juggle family, work and college. “The flexibility online classes offer has really opened the door to college for many, many students,” Gruening added. “There are still tests and deadlines, but students decide when they do the coursework,” she said, adding that Nicolet offers excellent technical support for students taking online classes.
Nicolet also has career coaches and academic advisors on hand to help students determine what career and college credential is right for them and to assist with admissions and financial aid.
