4-H Month Volunteer Education/Training class scheduled
The next education session for adults interested in learning more about how the 4-H program can enhance their lives is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Oneida County Airport basement.
The evening will cover the history of 4-H, research surrounding the program, its basic elements, as well as how 4-H can fit into everyone’s lifestyle.
Attendance doesn’t require future volunteer commitment. Child safety practices, required training for any adults working with 4-H youth will also be part of the evening program. October is 4-H month. Becoming informed about the 4-H program is a great way to foster positive youth development.
