Marshfield Clinic awards scholarships to LUHS students
Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center awarded two scholarships to Lakeland Union High School graduates pursuing health-related college degrees.
Melissa Lisowski and Kevin Schlichter are the 2013 recipients and will receive a total of $2,000 for their four-year undergraduate degrees. They were chosen by the Lakeland Union High School Scholarship Committee.
“We feel that it is vitally important to support our local students who are interested in pursuing careers in health care,” said Dr. Michael Schaars, Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center. “These talented students represent the future of health care for our community and we are honored to help them achieve their goals.”
