Tuna Two-?fer to benefit Relay for Life and Rhinelander Area Food Pantry
An effort to collect cans of tuna is now underway that will benefit both the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Oneida County and the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry. The cans will be used as weight in the luminary bags at the Relay for Life and then will be donated to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry for distribution to area families in need.
The community is encouraged to purchase cans of tuna and drop them off at their financial institution of choice. Collection totes are available at the following Rhinelander locations: Associated Bank, BMO Harris Bank, Co-Vantage Credit Union, Northwoods National Bank, Park City Credit Union, Peoples State Bank and RIPCO Credit Union as well as Printpack and Wausau Paper.
The Relay for Life Oneida County event will be held Friday, June 14, at Mike Webster Stadium which is located behind Rhinelander High School.
