Obituary: John “Jack” Mangerson
John “Jack” Mangerson, 76, of Rhinelander, died Dec. 13, 2012, at Alice Haus in Rhinelander. He was born June 26, 1936, in Rhinelander, to Carl and Alice (Skott) Mangerson. He is survived by his wife, Jean; his children, Tammy (Dave Oliver) Wendt of West Chicago, Ill., Kelly (Rob) Bramm of Rhinelander, Lauri (Darrell) Mussatti of Franklin and Tracie (Jay) Pettit of Winneconne; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and his brothers, Carl Mangerson of Greenfield and Judson (Janet) Mangerson of Rhinelander. He was preceded by his parents; and two brothers, Charles and Walter. Jack served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. He worked for the Rhinelander Paper Company, then Daniels PrintPak for 35 years. He was also an accomplished amateur radio operator. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. before services.
