Foundation donates $2,000 to Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing
The Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation recently donated $2,000 to the Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing (NATH) to be used for miscellaneous medical supplies for residents of Frederick Place.
“Like any household, residents need a variety of over-the-counter medications,” states Judith Pagano, MD, past-chair of the SMH Foundation and NATH volunteer. “Also, because of their individual needs, residents may need prescription medication refills, medical assistive devices and other health care equipment.”
Residents often are able to use the Springer Health Access Program at Ministry Saint Mary’s Hospital, also supported by the SMH Foundation, for basic medical care and some prescription medications.
