Oneida County Health Department plans move
The Oneida County Health Department will be moving to 100 W. Keenan Street, near Trig’s Shell Gas Station and Trig’s Riverwalk Centre (in the upper level of the former Northern Advantage Job Center) beginning on Aug. 20. The health department will not be open to the public for services from Aug. 20 through Aug. 25.
“We are really excited about our new building and location,” said Linda Conlon, Health Officer of the Oneida County Health Department. “Having all of our services on one level will increase our accessibility to our clients and make moving from one program to another easier.”
In addition Conlon noted that she felt the new location near Trig’s will increase the health department’s visibility to the public. The health department will have an open house at a later date, but encourages people to stop by and see the new building.
