Boil/Bottle advisory for Crescent water spring rescinded
Water samples collected from the Crescent Town Spring on July 9 and 10 were negative for coliform bacteria. Therefore, the boil water/bottled water advisory has been removed. The water in the Crescent Town Spring is again suitable for drinking.
The water from the spring will be sampled in one month to ensure the chlorination and disinfection process was successful. The Oneida County Health Department and the Town of Crescent appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding throughout this process.
