RASTA Rally mountain bike race on Sunday
Updated Fri., 5/11 – The Rhinelander Area Silent Trails Association (RASTA) is sponsoring the annual RASTA Rally mountain bike race on Sunday, May 13, at Camp Tesomas in Rhinelander.
This race offers classic Northwoods mountain bike racing with events for everyone from novice to expert. The RASTA Rally in the past has drawn well over 100 racers plus spectators.
The three race events include 22, 12 and 7 mile courses. Additionally there will be two races for kids up to 11 years of age. Day of registration begins at 10 a.m., with races beginning at noon.

RASTA maintains the mountain bike, snowshoe, and hiking trails at Washburn Lake Silent Sports Trails Area and Mud Lake Trails in Oneida County. Proceeds from the RASTA Rally support maintenance activities, equipment and supplies.
In addition to the RASTA Rally, the Wisconsin Off Road Series (WORS) Crystal Lake Classic will be held the following week, May 20, at Camp Tesomas. Later this summer RASTA will sponsor a Wisconsin Endurance Mountainbike Series (WEMS) race, Rock’n Root, on the Washburn Lake Trails on Saturday, Aug. 4.
