Thank you for your help by Karla Ortman

I would like to recognize and thank the many businesses and people who helped make The Fix Is In’s February Spay Day promotions successful.
French’s Homestead Veterinary Care (Rhinelander and Eagle River) and Northern Paws Animal Hospital (Rhinelander) pledged to donate 10 percent of their income from February spay/neuter services to The Fix Is In. This pledge resulted in donations of $475 and $306, respectfully. My sincere thanks is extended to Drs. French and Goodroad for their support.
Also during the month of February, the Northwoods Animal Hospital, Minocqua, and the Eagle River Animal Hospital offered discounts on spay/neuter service. Thanks to them for encouraging pet owners to spay/neuter their pets.
Finally, our second Annual Spay-ghetti and No Balls dinner was a success both in raising funds and in raising awareness about the importance of altering pets. More than 100 people enjoyed a tasty spaghetti dinner prepared by the Northwoods Banquet Center, with dessert donated by Reuland’s Catering. Throughout the event there were door prize drawings, cash paddle raffles and lots of great prizes won in the bucket raffle. I extend my sincere gratitude to all the people and businesses who helped make the dinner so wonderful-maybe they donated a raffle prize, sold tickets at their business, or volunteered their time and skills-regardless, it couldn’t have been done with out them:
