Minocqua Counseling Center welcomes psychotherapist
The Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Counseling Center recently welcomed David Paul, a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist. He joins Dr. Dean Vaughn, psychiatrist; Dr. Matthew Powell, neuropsychologist; Colleen O’Donnell, nurse practitioner; and fellow psychotherapists Kerry Adamson-Renk and Michael Megna in providing counseling services for people in the Northwoods.
“I believe in counseling people to help them find their way and improve their quality of life,” Paul said. “I feel it’s very important to develop connections and work with all available resources to help people achieve the most growth possible.”
He has more than 24 years of psychotherapy experience in outpatient, disability and vocational counseling.
Paul attained his Bachelor of Science in social work, as well as his Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa. His areas of expertise include; medical and psychiatric social work, substance abuse treatment services, mental health and disability counseling, case management, therapeutic crisis intervention, crisis management, diagnostic evaluation, cognitive behavioral therapy, domestic violence and abuse issues, and community outreach.
