Volunteers needed for pond hockey championships
The ERRA is looking for volunteers to help score games Feb. 8 through 10 for the 8th annual Labatt Blue/USA Hockey Pond Hockey National Championships held on Dollar Lake in Eagle River.
In 2012, 281 teams played 511 games on 24 rinks. This year’s event will feature 65 more teams, 96 more games and four more rinks. Games are played Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
