Triathlon planned at Holiday Acres in August
There will be a triathlon to benefit Wise Intelligent Leadership Development (W.I.L.D.) on Aug. 24, 2013, on and near the Holiday Acres Resort in Rhinelander. The 300-yard swim will take place in Lake Thompson. The 10K bike portion will take place on a dual track logging road near Holiday Acres and the 5K run will be through woods and over hills on the Cedric A. Vig Outdoor Classroom (CAVOC) property.
Those wishing to participate may register and pay the entry fee at hodagtriathlon.com in January. Currently, this website has not been formatted yet. The entry cost is $65 and all proceeds will benefit W.I.L.D., an international ministry group that focuses on developing youth leadership skills in Africa and India. For more information, call Tim Thorsen at (715) 365-2013.
