Oneida County Humane Society announces logo design contest
The Oneida County Humane Society is seeking entries for a logo design contest. The winning design will be used for signage, brochures, t-shirts and more.
"So many animal lovers also love to design and create images!" said Carrie Stoltz, Humane Society Board Member. "We decided not to use a professional to design our image. We'd like someone from our area to create the perfect image for the Humane Society."
The theme for the designs should be pets-dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, rabbits, etc.-and rescue or helping pets find new homes.
The colors used should be red, black and white with no shading, blending or halftones. The design submitted should be no larger than 3x5 inches. Full details and rules of the contest, plus an entry form, are available at the Animal Shelter at 1852 N. Stevens Street, Rhinelander, or online at OCHSPets.org.
Everyone is welcome to submit an entry, but the design must be the artist's original creation and not copied or duplicated from previously published art, clip art or electronic graphic images. Photographs will not be accepted.
Entries are due by 5 p.m. Thursday, March 15. Entries can be submitted either by dropping it off at the Animal Shelter or by emailing to OCHSPets@gmail.com.
Judging will be completed by April 15, and the winner will be announced in a news release and on the website, OCHSPets.org.
