Convicted sex offender to be released from prison
In accordance with Wisconsin State Statute 301.46(2m), the Rhinelander Police Department has released the following information on Jason L. Mullen. Mullen, convicted in Oneida County on July 20, 2011, of third degree sexual assault, will be released from prison on Dec. 4, 2012. He will be returning to the community and placed under supervision administered by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Upon release, he will be placed on the Intensive Supervision Program and will be subject to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Electronic Monitoring Program (EMP). Mullen will be required to register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry Program until Dec. 7, 2031. The Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry is online at widocoffenders.org.
