Obituary: Antone L. Recha

Antone L. Recha, 76, of Rhinelander, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at his home. He was born Aug. 4, 1936, to Antone P. and Ione (Thon) Recha in Rhinelander. He is survived by his wife, Loretta; sons Mark, Jeffrey and Rockne, all of Rhinelander; a sister, Marie Knipfer of Tomahawk; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Andrew Thon; and two sons, Blane and an infant, Michael. He was employed by the City of Rhinelander Water and Sewer Department for 40 years until his retirement in 2000. A memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord-St. Joseph’s site, with Fr. Tom Thakadipuram officiating. Inurnment will be at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery at a later date. (Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home)
