Obituary: Kathleen Vickman

Kathleen Vickman, 99, of Rhinelander died Jan. 16, 2013, in Minneapolis, Minn. She was born Dec. 2, 1913, in Rhinelander to Joseph and Polly (Pospychalla) O’Malley. She is survived by two sons, John (Shuz) Vickman and Thomas (Karen) Vickman; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Vickman; a brother, Thomas O’Malley; a sister, Gay (Joseph) Miazga; and a daughter-in-law, Diane (John) Vickman. Mrs. Vickman was employed by Montgomery Wards in Rhinelander as a department head and was a member of Nativity of Our Lord-St. Mary Parish. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Nativity of Our Lord Parish-St. Mary Saturday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. (Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home)
