Obituary: Paul R. Carlson

Paul R. Carlson, 58, of Rhinelander (formerly of Eagle River and Conover), died Jan. 15, 2013, at his home. He was born Nov. 13, 1954, to Carl and Esther (Danielson) Carlson in Youngstown, Ohio. He enjoyed boating, fishing and automobile racing. He especially loved spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his brother, Wes (Fran) Carlson of Evanston, Ill., a brother-in-law, Roger Johnson of Clarendon Hills, Ill., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linnea Johnson. A memorial service will be held in the Chicago area. Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
