Obituary: Janet M. Jakubowski

Janet M. Jakubowski, 78, of Sugar Camp, died Dec. 17, 2012, at her home. She was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Milwaukee, to Herbert and Marie (Tiedeman) Petrowsky. She is survived by her husband, Jim; her daughter, Carrie (Thomas) Robinson of Sugar Camp; her sons, Jerry (Ann) of Wausau and James of Tomahawk; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a brother, Theodore (Diane) Petrowsky of Hartland. She was preceded by her parents; a daughter, Kristi; a grandson; and two brothers, Herbert and Edward. Janet worked in the Rhinelander school system and then for Northern Title and Abstract for 23 years. She enjoyed motorcycling, camping and animals, especially dogs and horses. A celebration of Janet’s life will be Sat. Dec. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Moondance Bar, Hwy. 17 North in Sugar Camp. (The Carlson Funeral Home)
