Obituary: Elaine Boanshick

Elaine Boanshick, 74, of Rhinelander, died Nov. 19, 2012. She was born May 25, 1938, in Chicago, Ill., to George and Irene Boanshick. She is survived her nephews, Frank (Linda) Plewa, Richard Plewa, James (Laurie) Plewa, Jack Plewa, Michael (Janice) Clancy and Timothy (Debbie) Clancy; and 10 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents; her brother, Michael Clancy; and her sister, Bette Plewa. Elaine worked for 32 years at the Continental Illinois Bank and Trust Company of Chicago as an administrative aid to the chairman of the board. She was an avid volunteer in Chicago and then when she retired to the Rhinelander community. A Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. at Nativity of Our lord Church-St. Mary’s site. There will be a visitation on Monday, Nov. 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hildebrand-Russ Funeral home.
