William “Kevin” Rogers, age 56 of Rhinelander, passed away Dec. 20, 2017, at Tomahawk Health Services. Kevin was born Jan. 12, 1961 in Cape May, N.J. to the late William and Dorothy (Renken) Rogers.
Kevin graduated from Rhinelander High School and entered the workforce beginning employment at the Minneapolis Tribune and later Walt Disney World in Florida. He was a long-time resident of Rhinelander where he enjoyed spending time with great friends. Kevin had a passion for music and was a talented guitar player.
He is survived by his step-father, John H. Renken Jr. of Merrill; brother, Christopher Rogers of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Victoria Reinhert, of Norwich, Conn., and Valerie Rappley, of Summerville, S.C.; newphews, Joshua Reinhert, of Lancaster, Mass., and Adam Rappley, of Summit Lake; nieces, Jenna Mullhaney, of Bozrah, Conn., and Shalon Rappley, of Moncks Corner, S.C.; and his adoptive family, the Skinners, of Rhinelander.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
