Edward James Anderson, age 76 of Rhinelander, died June 22, 2017 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston.
He was born Dec. 2, 1940 in Rhinelander to Archibald and Ruth (Raulie) Anderson. Edward served in the Air Force from 1959–1963 as a flight line mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Anne (Bauer); two daughters, Louise (Mark) Wells of Rhinelander and Mary (Trevor) Brooks of Oconomowoc; two granddaughters; his sister, Glenda Minton of Steelville, Ill.; three brothers, Jeffrey (Carol) of Rhinelander, Michael (Judy) of Wisconsin Rapids, and Timothy of Kansas City, Mo.; cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Norma Anderson; and brother-in-law, Jerry Minton.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard Miller officiating. Visitation will be 4–7 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 at the Carlson Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the church. (Carlson Funeral Home)
