OBITUARY: Elmer (Pete) Peters, Jr.
Elmer (Pete) Peters, Jr., age 64 died Sept. 11, 2016. He was born Aug. 3, 1952 in Milwaukee to Elmer & Jane (Gossette) Peters Sr. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Milbrath) Peters of Harshaw; sons, Brian (Danielle) Peters of Ga. and Glen (Donna) Cannon of Tenn.; daughter, Melleny Andrews of Tenn.; sisters, Cindy (John) Pischel of N.C. and Melissa Peters, of Conn.; brother, David Peters; father, Elmer (Barb) Peters, Sr., all of Conn.; grandchildren, Elliana Peters of Ga., Victoria Cannon, Bow Cannon and Brandon Andrews, all of Tenn.; sisters-in-law, Betty Ann Peters of Merrill, Tammy Peters of Rhinelander; nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved companions, Toby & Brownie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Peters; brothers, James Peters and Andy Peters; nephew, Andy Peters Jr.; and his beloved basset hound, Texas.
Pete will be greatly missed by his neighbors and many, many friends that he befriended throughout his lifetime.
His memorial service will be held Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. in Minocqua at the Lakeland Seventh-Day Adventist Church, four miles west on Hwy. 70. Pastor Kevin Moreno will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Lakeland Seventh-Day Adventist Church for Radio 74 or missions.
