Rhinelander High School athlete Luke Roberts has committed to playing football at UW-LaCrosse in the fall. Roberts will play at tight end, but unlike his role as a Hodag, he will be playing on the inside, on the line, blocking. “I am most looking forward to playing football at the next level,” Roberts said. “I’ll be playing against bigger and better competition which will then make me bigger and better.” Deciding where to play has been a process, he said, and had been looking at different programs at division one, two and three schools. Roberts will pursue a physical therapy degree while at LaCrosse. He is pictured here with his parents, Mike and Angie Roberts and his sister, Livi. [Photos by Eileen Persike]
