Trig’s Rhinelander store is supporting the American Cancer Society – Relay for Life Oneida County and the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry’s current Tuna Two-‘fer project. In addition to donating 100 cans of tuna, Trig’s will be collecting donated tuna at their Service Desk. Pictured by the collection bin is Don Theisen, Trig’s Store Manager.
In addition to Trig’s, tuna cans can be donated through participating area churches or they can be dropped off weekday mornings at the Food Pantry (627 Coon St.)
The tuna is first used as weight in the Relay for Life’s luminaries that line the walk way for the event, and then the cans are donated to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry.
One act of kindness will benefit two great causes. The Relay for Life event will be held on Saturday, July 25th at Hodag Park. For further information, please call 715-360-0400.
