The Oneida County Health department, in collaboration with Safe Kids, and the Ministry Medical Group Northern Region, will conduct free car seat inspections Wednesday June 10, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. at the Rhinelander Fire Station, located at 128 W. Frederick Street. No appointment is necessary to have a Certified Car Seat Technician check your car seat.
Free low back booster seats will be available to children over 4 years old and 40 lbs, while supply lasts. Child must be present and vehicle must have lap and shoulder belt and headrest. Limit one booster seat per child. Additional car seats will be available based on need and income eligibility.
Results from previous safety seat checks have shown that 4 out of 5 car seats are used incorrectly. Be sure yours is not one of them!
