Chippewa Falls person of interest possibly spotted in Rhinelander
On Wednesday, June 18, the Rhinelander Police Department received information from the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office that 38-year-old Eric T. Hall, a person of interest by them, was sighted in Rhinelander around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Eisenhower Parkway.
According to the Chippewa County Sheriff’s detectives, their office received a call from an Oneida County resident indicating that she had seen a person and vehicle matching the description of Hall driving in Rhinelander. Hall is wanted for questioning in several motor vehicle thefts in the Chippewa County area.
Hall is possibly headed to the Eagle River area in Vilas County where he has a 2 1/2 year old child in common with a woman from that area.
The Rhinelander Police Department wants to remind people that if they do spot Hall or the vehicle he was last known to be operating, a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, tan in color bearing Wisconsin license plate or JE7961, with pink hunting stickers in the rear window, they should call local law enforcement immediately. Do not approach or confront this person on your own. Eric Hall was released from prison June 10.
The Rhinelander Police Department does not have any information indicating Hall remains in Rhinelander at this time.
