Rhinelander’s first Bowl for Kids’ Sake will take place 6:00 p.m., April 4 at Hodag Lanes. The theme is “A Bowl Through TV Land” and the event will include a DJ—Rhinelander’s own Scott Kirby—prizes, raffles, pizza, games, a costume contest featuring classic TV characters, and of course bowling.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters biggest fundraiser and area businesses have been generous in their donations. Now Associated Bank has led the way by being the first business to register a bowling team.
“Associated Bank is proud to be an active part of our community, and many of our team members want to personally support the Big Brothers Big Sisters goal of changing lives for the better, forever,” said Jo Waltenberg, Rhinelander branch manager. “Our team would like to encourage other businesses to have some fun and get a team together, too.”
Teams are 4 to 6 bowlers–good bowling skills are not required–of co-workers, friends or family. Registration forms are available online at www.bbbsnw.org, at the chamber of commerce, library and city hall, or call Mary Kinnunen at 715-820-2633.
