Obituary: George R. Angell
George R. Angell, 80, of Rhinelander, died Dec. 24, 2013, at his home, with his family at his side. He was born in Glen Flora Sept. 9, 1933 to Forrest and Pearl(Offner)Angell. George is survived by his wife, Betty; his three daughters, Chris Angell, Nancy (Brian) Gehrig and Marlene (Mark) Rudolph, all of Rhinelander; his five sons, Dennis (Cathy) Angell of Minneapolis, George (Terri) Angell Jr. of Rhinelander, Timothy (Janet) Angell of Minneapolis, Kenneth (Lori) Angell of Green Bay and David (special friend Trish) Angell of Wausau; 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; four sisters, Helen (Roy) Zeh of Peshtigo, Karen (Jack) Grade of Shawano, Judy (Roger) Bradley of Johnson City, Tenn., and Pam (Terry) Zielinski of Neenah; his five brothers, William (Juanita) Angell of Pendelton, Ore., Robert (Sandra) Angell of Eagle River, Danny (Nancy) Angell of Kaukauna, Lanny (Pat) Angell and James Angell both of Coleman; many nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. George was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lou Blanchette-Dale and Elizabeth Angell; and two brothers, Charles Angell and Donald Angell. Funeral services for George will be held Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at noon at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Eagle River. The Rev. William Trozien will officiate. Visitation for George will be held from 10 a.m. until just prior to the services. (Carlson Funeral Home)
