Individuals with questions on how to purchase health insurance in the marketplace made possible by the Affordable Care Act are invited to a special information session on the Nicolet College Campus.
The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Northwoods Center 208.
The act, which is intended to expand access to quality and affordable health coverage for all Americans, includes a number of different components. Those attending will learn about what the insurance plans cover, what to think about when choosing a health plan, important dates related to the Affordable Care Act, enrollment information, and where to get help. There will also be a question and answer session.
The information will be provided by the Bridge Community Health Clinic, the regional enrollment network provider for north central Wisconsin.
