Bob Milne will return to the Campanile Center
A perennial favorite, Bob Milne, considered the world’s best ragtime pianist, will return to the Campanile Center for the Arts on Friday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m.
Take a step back in time and discover the sounds and history of ragtime music.
Referred to as a “national treasure” by the Library of Congress and described by the State Department as a “musical ambassador”, Bob Milne started as a saloon pianist in Detroit which embarked him on a musical career that has seen him play at the White House and around the globe. Milne is truly one of the premier ragtime pianists around. He intersperses history, stories and a description of composers’ styles with his music. Truly an evening of entertainment for young and old alike. Milne is coming back by popular demand so mark your calendar and bring your friends and family. A fantastic evening of live entertainment for any age.
Campanile Center for the Arts is located one block west of southbound Hwy. 51 on Milwaukee St. in downtown Minocqua.
