The 28th annual Headwaters Foundation Charity Golf Classic will be held at the Rhinelander Country Club Monday, Aug. 12, with shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The event is open to all men and women. This charity golf tournament is being held for the benefit of Headwaters, Inc. The goal this year is to raise funds to support the foundation’s scholarship program. Currently, there is an eight- to 10-year waiting list for people with intellectual disabilities to receive services. The scholarship program was established to provide funds for individuals with intellectual disabilities who are eligible for the services Headwaters offers and are unable to obtain funding from other sources.
This is a four-person scramble, 18-hole tournament. The entry fee is $95 per person, which includes golf, cart and dinner. Following dinner, tournament awards and door prizes will be presented, raffles will be held and numerous items donated by area merchants will be auctioned!
Entry blanks can be picked up at Headwaters, Inc., the Rhinelander Country Club, or downloaded from the Headwaters website, headwatersinc.org. Anyone interested in sponsoring a hole for $100 or donating items for the auction may contact Mary Hardtke, director of Headwaters Inc., at (715) 369-1337.
The deadline for entries is Aug. 9, 2013.
