Kim Swisher, the School District of Rhinelander’s Community Education Coordinator, submitted her letter of resignation today. Swisher has accepted a position with the Lac Du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa as a communications coordinator.
“I submitted my letter of resignation today and believe it will be forwarded to the School Board at the earliest opportunity. I have greatly appreciated serving our students and the Rhinelander community. The position with the Tribe is new, as is the Communications Office, and I am honored to have been selected for this exciting new endeavor,” said Swisher.
“I received Kim’s resignation letter today, and met with her this afternoon. I thanked her for her efforts these past two years, and wished her well in her new position,” said Kelli Jacobi, incoming School Superintendent. “We are pleased with the work of the Community Education Program, and will be posting the position as soon as possible,” said Jacobi.
Swisher’s final day with the School District will be Friday, June 28, 2013.
