Mandy Rottier, lead trainer for the Eagle River YMCA’s Y Weight program, invited Staff Sgt. Jonathan J. Miller and his recruiting staff to lead a workout with the weight loss competition group.
The group had been working for five weeks to lose weight. The Marines led the group through challenging strength, plyometric and cardio exercises with a boot camp style. Participants were encouraged to bring a guest. The group learned exercises that did not require equipment so they can easily be performed after the Y Weight program is completed.
