Rhinelander youth bowlers finish season
For the past 27 weeks, Rhinelander youth bowlers have experienced the challenges and rewards of bowling in a sanctioned league. On Saturday, March 30, Hodag Lanes treated the bowlers and their families to “rock & roll” bowling with black lights, pizza and plenty of awards.
First and second place trophies were handed out with individual awards for the age sub-categories. General age guidelines for youth bowlers are ages 3 to 7 for Bumpers, 7 to 8 for Bantams, 9 to 12 for Preps, 13 to 16 for Juniors and 17 to 19 for Majors.
Coach Mike Bourcier also handed out to the RHS bowling team. Youth league director Sharon Cline handed out awards for the following:
First place team-Micfic’s: Justin Cline, Tommy Strauss, Alix Selig and Kimmy Czekus.
Second place team-Pins Down: Julie Bennis, Jennifer Sheppo Timreck, Miranda Manya and Tanner Cook.
