Insulation donations keep area families warmer
Local architectural firm Bailey Edward teamed with Wisconsin Public Service and Ace Hardware in Rhinelander to make a donation to the Personal Essentials Pantry (PEP) located at the First United Methodist Church. More than 45 window insulation kits of various sizes and 600 feet of door insulation tape were purchased and given to the PEP to help families stay warmer this winter.
Laurie Goscha, the branch manager for Bailey Edward’s Rhinelander office, said, “As architects concerned with energy efficiency, the firm wanted to do something to help keep people warm this winter. We know the Personal Essentials Pantry fills a great need within the community and are pleased a donation of this type will help the people and families PEP serves.”
The Personal Essentials Pantry serves qualifying clients with items that cannot be found at local food pantries. Paper products, soap, personal hygiene items and now window and door insulation kits will be available for distribution on Saturday, Dec. 29, from 9 a.m. to noon.
