A chance to offer their customers more services was the motive for Lesa Servent and Jody Beyer to move The Mane Flair down Brown Street to a new location. The new Mane Flair is located next door to the Northwestern, where formerly they were at the other end of Brown Street near Bucketheads. “I’m so glad we decided to open at this location,” said Lesa. “We like the view better and there’s a lot going on at this corner. But in addition, now we can offer our customers more products and services.”
While The Mane Flair has always been known for its superb hair styling, cuts, perms, coloring and waxing, now Lesa and Jody will offer so much more. Their new place has a spacious and welcoming decor with high ceilings and a wood floor; a cozy waiting area looking over Brown Street; a child’s play area; a chair specifically set up for pedicures and small tables set up for manicures. It won’t be long before facials are included too.
Lesa started The Mane Flair and Jody rented a chair from her at the former location. But now the two women are partners and opened their new shop last Monday. One of the unique aspects about their beauty salon is that they offer all organic products to their customers. That means shampoos, coloring products and any substance that comes in contact with skin or hair is organic. “Our customers really like that we offer these products,” said Lesa. “And we think it is healthier for our clients, too.”
At The Mane Flair, Jody and Lesa offer their services to not only women, but men and children as well.
The Mane Flair is located now at 123 S. Brown St. in Rhinelander. The hours are Monday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday closed; Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday from 9 a.m. to noon; and every other Saturday the hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They have a Facebook page and the phone number is (715) 369-7377.
